Our Story
Our 23 year old daughter, Christina, was hospitalized for 30 days last November after having been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Wegener's Granulomatosis. She was released from the hospital on December 3, 2008. Two days later, my husband Tom, a CPA, lost his job of 22 years as VP of Finance for a high-end luxury custom builder. Three days later, I lost my job with a ministry whose income had declined with the current economic climate. Our daughter required 24/7 care through February and fortunately, has since made a miraculous recovery. She will be continuing her education at the University of North Texas this fall. Unfortunately, neither my husband nor I have found jobs.
After eight months of unemployment, mounting expenses and 23 years in our home, our mortgage company is trying to take us into foreclosure. I saw a news story on a lady who baked her way out of foreclosure and it inspired me to do the same. Your prayers, orders and job referrals would be greatly appreciated!
